Saber AWR/MSK - “Flag 2010″
Awesome video of Saber talking about his ‘Flag 2010′ painting and prints. Interestingly i was recently discussing the problems of America’s health system and (along with some other issues) it has influenced a piece a just finished for the upcoming letterheads exhibition tiled ‘False Idols Will Fall’. Anyway this is a really interesting perspective on how ‘right-wingnut’ media miss the real point of art reflecting a valid social issue and instead go all patriotic lynchmob. Dope work Saber! Fuck the ignorant!

Whether your a fan or not, it seems these guys genuinely support upcoming art and music culture, cheers!

primary flight - blue print for space
So I’ve submitted a piece for the Primary Flight Exhibition at Art Basel Miami 2009. Its a killer lineup of artists which I’m honoured to be showing with, should be an amazing show, I’m sure if your there you should check it.
ABOUT PRIMARY FLIGHT :
Primary Flight is a collaborative curatorial organization dedicated to the production of site-specific, street level, mural installations. Since its inception in 2007, Primary Flight has brought together over 100 of the world’s most influential Street Artists to install their bodies of work live in the streets of Wynwood. These projects provide a catalyst for burgeoning arts communities. Two books about Primary Flight events are scheduled to be released in the summer and winter of 2009, through Ginko Press Publishing.

‘Identity Crisis’, Aerosol & Acrylic on canvas, 36″ x 36″.

god save the queen…
So the Halloween party rocked until too many people came and the cops shut us down. Fake blood, sweat & capsicum spray… as they say. Thanks to all who contributed to make it happen and the party people for getting down. Good times!

Meggs x SheOne

Meggs x SheOne , originally uploaded by –Meggs–.
As part of the No Comply Exhibition we were lucky enough to have Londons SheOne in town.
It was good to be able to show SheOne around town and have him paint a nice wall in the Everfresh studio.
On Saturday the 8th of Nov, I was priveledged to do a live painting event with the man, and it was a buzz to work alongside him and get good vibes and feedback from the crowd. We were both stoked with how the pieces came out and the night went down overall. Thanks to James, Alex, Josh, Dara and all those who helped or came down for a beer and the show.
I’ll post some pics of the night, and I’ll have some clean photos of the finished pieces up soon.
More pics on Nice flickr, of course!
