meggs x stussy
The ‘Meggs x Stussy’ artist series tees have dropped and are available instore at: Stussy Chadstone, Stussy QV, Loreak Mendian St Kilda, Street Machine, Stussy Sydney, SP1, Edukated, Apartment, Eldorado & Highs n Lows.
“My awareness of the Stussy brand started when I was a teenager heavily into skateboarding. So I wanted to reference that period of my life with these tee graphics. I was particularly influenced by the skate art of guys like Jim Phillips – all full blown motifs of skulls, eyeballs and the like. I came up with the eyeball theme as a way to parody stereotypical comic heroes and relate to my current stencil works – its a full combination of skate, comics and horror!”

blana magazine
Feature in Blana Magazine (Issue 8, Feb 2009) produced out of Bucharest, Romania.
I don’t know much about Bucharest, but it seems they have a thriving skate scene and some cool street art. Romania the country, also has around the same population as Australia.
