green day art project

Dope stencil artist and friend Logan Hicks has teamed up with band ‘Green Day’ to create a traveling street art exhibition which will be touring with Green Day on their world tour. Some of the artists involved include Logan Hicks (of course), M-City, Ron English, Broken Crow and Sixten. These artists have created pieces which are inspired by Green Day’s latest album, 21st Century Breakdown.

I was asked to be part of the show and produced a piece for the track ‘Christians Inferno’.
Admittedly I didn’t have a copy of the “21st Century Breakdown” album (and usually listen to a lot heavier music nowadys) but I was stoked to be involved and be part of a project that will bring a connection of our visual arts and music to a massive and potentially new audience.

More info on the project can be found here:

record time

I have been very slack with updating this blog, so this is somewhat of a retrospective post about the ‘Record Time’ exhibition that I was a part of the Melbourne show. Run by Luca Ionescu at ‘Refill’ the show features a heap of dope artists doing artwork for laser etched vinyl records.

All details can be found here: http://www.refillmag.com/

Heres my vinyl (stoked on the ‘Uncanny X-Men’ record, thanks Luca!):
